Promising nutritional research

Hair mineral analysis of violent prison inmates found that lead and cadmium levels were significantly higher than non-violent inmates. Pihl RO et al: Lead and cadmium in violent criminals. Psychol Rep 66(3Pt1):839-44, 1990.

In a double-blind study examining the effects of a reduction in consumption of refined, sugary foods on 3,000 incarcerated juvenile delinquents, there was a 21% reduction in antisocial behaviour, a 100% reduction in suicides, 25% reduction in assaults, and a 75% reduction in the use of restraints compared with controls.
