In January 2011 Linda Lazarides launched her new School of Modern Naturopathy which provides an internet-based training course in Naturopathic Nutritional Therapy – sometimes known as Holistic Nutrition.

The School of Modern Naturopathy uses the internet to train individuals who want to work hard to gain an accredited practitioner qualification in one year. The teaching is centred around a monthly printed coursebook plus online videos and an online student-teacher forum where questions can be asked and answered quickly.

The School of Modern Naturopathy is accredited by natural medicine professional bodies in the United Kingdom, United States, Australia and other countries.

International distance learning with master practitioners is now becoming possible thanks to internet technology. This training can in some cases be more valuable than on-campus courses as well as costing a great deal less. This article on naturopathy distance learning explains why.
